BUCKEYE ALL-STAR BAND
The Buckeye All-Star Band will perform our National Anthem at the SHOREMEN BRASS CLASSIC once again. They will have the honor of being conducted by The Ohio State University Marching Band Director, Mr. Jonathan Waters. Jonathan Waters was named director in 2012. Prior to this appointment he served as Assistant Director of The Ohio State University Marching Band for ten years. He received his Bachelors of Music Education degree from The Ohio State University in 2000. He was a member of the Marching Band from 1995-1999 and he served as Graduate Assistant Director for the band during the 2000 and 2001 seasons. He has since received two Masters degrees in Music Education and Conducting from The Ohio State University School of Music.
Members of the Buckeye All-Star Band will be selected from area Northeast Ohio high schools who choose to participate. If you are interested in participating and have not yet heard of this opportunity from your band director please contact us!
